We represent owners of British Columbia's private Managed Forests. Owners demonstrate their long-term commitment to private forest land through investment, innovative silviculture and harvesting practices, and reforestation. They also commit to protecting public environmental values of Fish Habitat, Water Quality, Critical Wildlife Habitat, Soil Conservation and Reforestation on their Managed Forest land.
Private forest land accounts for a small percentage of the province, but it plays a significant role in the lives of British Columbians.
