Sinking Creek Sawyers is our family owned & operated portable sawmill business. We have a Wood-Mizer LT70 Super Sawmill and a portable Cooks edger. We turn logs into valuable lumber for customers throughout Appalachia! Whether it's a small, custom woodworking project or a full blown barn or cabin, or industrial application, if you have logs we have the portable operation that can handle the job! We also provide NHLA hardwood grading and sawing services. If you have your own logs, we can mill them on site, right where you'll be putting the lumber to use! The bottom line- you save on transportation costs and get lumber custom milled to the sizes you need that otherwise may be very expensive or even hard to find in local markets. In the end, you have lumber with a story! You'll have the satisfaction of knowing your sawyer and that your lumber came from the logs on your own property!
