I've owned the ms271 for seven months, returned it twice to a Stihl repair shop and to this day have I or anyone else has got it to start. We've tried by to stat the manual, the way the shop has told us and all different ways.

My old 041Farm Boss was the beast for a 20 inch saw.. would cut circles around saws comparable to it in size and cubic in. Always started even in the coldest weather conditions. Was simple to maintenance also.would cut 40 to 50 cord season after season. Was always my first choice to take to the woods.Till one day it took legs and disappeared from my shed. Never did fid out where it went. Sure do miss the the old dependable beast. That first Stihl has sold me on their saws ever since and have not gone astray to this day . About to go get me a new 271 Farm Boss.
