Light weight for the power this saw has.
Bought in summer of 2020. Choose this saw for the power to weight ratio. Well made. Cranks easy and idles with no problems. Have a MS390 and HT75 pole saw. After about 15+ years had to replace fuel lines and grommets on the HT75. Replacement parts are very reasonable. This is one of the reasons I choose to stick with Stihl saws.

Brake band dragging
I am generally pleased with my saw (MS 193 C-E) and the service and follow-up to a previous review that I left. In this review I want to share an issue that I noticed recently when cleaning the sprocket cover. What I found was that the brake band was pushed out of position at the bottom, which resulted in the band rubbing on the clutch and getting hot enough to melt the plastic cover. When I would engage and release the brake, the band tended to drop out of position as the plastic guide features had been melted away. I replaced the cover assembly and the new one keeps the brake band in the correct position. I now am very careful when installing the clutch cover, which is kind of tricky.
