Does the Job!
This is a great chainsaw. I'm glad I spent the extra money and bought a Stihl! I've used other brands and they don't have the power to get the job done. With ash bore I've cut over 40 trees down on my property. I used my Poulan and it conked out. Been using the Stihl for a few months now and I will not be switching back ever!

Have had to start it 11 times, never failed
I purchased the saw one month ago, but have yet to put it thru its paces.

Great power for the money
I bought this a month ago and so glad I did, have used it for several days cutting logs for firewood, 4” to 20” have had zero problems. Great power for the money, easy start and runs good for hours (40° At the time).

far more than a homeowner saw
Solid and Reliable. Great saw for firewood cutting. Not too big and not too small. I have a few different Stihl saws and this one is the go to for the lighter and smaller wood cutting. Don’t let the homeowner grade fool you. This saw rips and is pretty light weight. 16” bar is the best on this saw. Have cut up several cords of firewood with this saw after 5 years of use. Never a problem. I like this saw better than my old and rebuilt MS290, that is heavy and harder to start.
