Nothing compares to Stihl

Got this after I was tired of having to fix the chain on my previous chainsaw from another brand. This chainsaw is a workhorse.

Great saw

Bought the saw about a year ago, I had no problem with it, cut a fair amount of wood would definitely recommend a saw for cutting firewood

ryns great starts hard

Hard to start when cold otherwise it runs great. I really needed a 20 inch chain saw. It performs great maybe it will start easier once its run in

Good Value Saw

Good saw. However, I don’t like the non adjustable oil pump and it can be hard to start. The chain and bar are drier than I prefer. Seems to have good days and bad days on idling properly. Always having to tweak the LA a bit to keep it running, depending on elevation and environment conditions. It has a lot of compression and can be difficult for some people to start it. It does a great job, but is rather heavy.. The value is good, but it isn’t as good as the old MS290 in my opinion. Decent with an 18” bar and RS chain. However, probably should stick with a 16” bar for this saw.
