It says 1 of the cons is its priced at over $3100. It would be a bargain at that price. As stated in beginning it is $4764. I do believe the were they were $ 30-someting. They do seem to be a great machine for the money

I agree with the positive reviews Bought the same machine in November. It is terrific. I did do a couple/three enhancements. First was a wheeled dolly leg made moving unit around much easier. Second I stabilized the catch tray/slide. Third I made slide tray a bit taller and brought I back closer to splitter blade. This kept more pieces on the tray and stopped them from falling prematurely to the ground. I operate from an elevated position so that wood falls right into collection bins.
